Government degree college, Razole was established in the year 1968 in the area of Kona Seema of Andhra Pradesh. The government of Andhra Pradesh accorded permission for the establishment of the college on 8th August 1968 wide GOMS No. 1524, Education department, Dt.03-08-1968.The College was started with three conventional courses i.e. B.A, B.Com, and B.Sc. with M.P.C & B.Z.C. To meet with the changing trends, the college introduced two restructured courses; those are B.Com Computer Applications and B.Sc. Computer Science during the academic year 2009-2010.
To impart holistic education with special emphasis on commerce, management and industry oriented learning.
To make the students enjoy the fruits of globalization without prejudice to their local and cultural environment.
To impart skills so as to make them face any challenges in the micro and macro levels of any environment.

The B.Com programmes aims at making the students employable and self-employable in the economic system.
It aims at making the students learn financial education both theoretical and practical.
It aims at making students learn the Accounting skill i.e. recognising, recording, analysing and interpretation of financial transactions and also Auditing, Taxation skills.
It aims at making students learn and adopt the things that are relating to E-commerce and Computerized Accounting Packages like Tally with GST implications.
It aims at making students learn to be conversant with the financial and economic environment and acquire the administrative and management skills that are required to manage the business organizations.
It aims at equipping the students with dynamic possible and proactive thinking attitude in all aspects.
